Role: Regional Marketing Manager
Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager, National Acquisition
Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid – 4 days in office)
Travel: Regular within Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $74,817 - $118,211
Please note that the compensation range listed includes base salary and potential incentive pay. Incentives such as bonuses are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance and company results. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
Summary
We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Regional Marketing Manager, to lead regional and local campaigns across Canada that drive acquisition for our home services portfolio—heating, cooling, water heaters, water purification and more. You'll translate national go to market strategies into regional plans, with tailored offers and messaging by region, and help orchestrate digital (Search/Social/Display) along with integrated campaigns leveraging traditional media (radio, print, proximity boards, bus/transit wraps, events). You help find the balance between lead generation and ongoing community presence and brand building efforts, continuously optimizing for seasonality, and regional nuances affecting the comfort and security of Canadian homeowners.
You will own regional campaign execution, performance optimization, building strategies and consensus with cross-functional teams, regional leaders, and agency partners to ensure flawless execution, a superior customer experience and measurable business impact.
Core Competencies
Regional & Hyperlocal Strategy: Strength in provincial/city‑level planning, understanding the specific regional needs and what localization is most impactful to drive results
Digital Performance Marketing: Skilled in search and social advertising, including local audience targeting with an understanding of landing page optimization
Analytical Mindset: Ability to connect campaign metrics to business goals, driving quickly to insights to improve performance
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Regional GMs, Sales, Call Centre, Product teams, and agencies to align timing, offers, and training
Agency & Vendor Management: Able to build strong partnership with agencies, with oversight of local media buys and vendor relationships, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
Project Management: Manages multiple regional campaigns with clear timelines, quality checks, and budget control
Brand Stewardship & Compliance: Ensure brand consistency and understands Canadian marketing regulations (CASL, PIPEDA, Ad Standards)
Key Responsibilities
Regional Strategy & Planning
Build regional campaign calendars and product prioritization as needed
Localize offer language/positioning to reflect regional nuances and regulatory conditions
Work closely with Regional GMs and Sales/Call Centre teams to align timing, offers, and goals
Digital Lead Generation
Partnering with our Digital teams (internal/agency), help plan and optimize geo-targeted search and social ads, including local targeting and weather-related responsiveness
Work with SEO and content teams to ensure regional relevance
Support regular testing on audiences, creative, offers; improve landing pages for better conversion
Work on conversion rate optimization (CRO) improvements and strive to meet monthly digital targets while enhancing user experience (UX)
Support with Regional Landing page builds for performance optimization, directly and/or working with Agency teams
Coordinate directory listings on platforms like Yellow Pages, Trustpilot, and HomeStars
Web Conversion
Work with Digital, SEO, and CRO teams to improve the customer journey and develop content or tactics to address relevant customer triggers to improve conversion.
Lead the efforts to optimize SEO strategies, including local SEO, link-building, Google Business Profiles (GBPs), and ensuring accurate listings on directories and maps
Review development work from external agencies and internal teams to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with marketing goals
Measurement & Optimization
Contribute to campaign goal setting and performance monitoring against CPL/CPA and regional targets
Coordinate the development of dashboards, weekly pacing reports, monthly summaries, and post-campaign wrap reports
Regional projects lead
Be the conduit between Regional field teams and product/marcomms. Lead regional presentations on a regular basis to communicate to stakeholders. Travel up to 1x a quarter to represent marketing at the regional conference.
Demonstrate strong execution and project management skills, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Governance & Compliance
Ensure brand guidelines are followed, and approvals are in place for local creative and offers; comply with CASL and PIPEDA requirements
Keep campaign documentation and assets organized; manage vendor agreements and coordinate with legal and brand teams as needed
Qualifications
7+ years in marketing, with proven regional & hyperlocal campaign leadership.
Demonstrated success across both digital and traditional hyperlocal channels.
Strong analytical skills; adept with campaign dashboards, testing methodologies, and ROI storytelling.
Agency experience or direct vendor relationships a plus; excellent project management and communication skills
Familiarity with SEO, paid media, and CRM-driven marketing (a bonus)
Some knowledge of Canadian marketing governance (CASL, PIPEDA, Ad Standards) and brand stewardship.
Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment; willing to travel regularly across the assigned region.
