THE OPPORTUNITY
Eco-Counter is seeking a dynamic Client Consultant to accelerate growth and client adoption across North America. This role blends strategic business development with consultative client engagement. It's ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, shaping go-to-market strategies, and delivering real impact through client-centric solutions. You'll be instrumental in expanding Eco-Counter's presence, uncovering new opportunities, and strengthening partnerships throughout public and private sectors.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Grow Eco-Counter's Presence in the U.S. & Canada
· Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across the United States and Canada.
· Build and nurture relationships with public agencies, parks, transportation departments, consultants, and other stakeholders.
· Navigate long-cycle, consultative public-sector sales processes with confidence.
· Lead proactive outreach and engagement, including cold calls, targeted outreach campaigns, and tailored business pitches.
· Qualify, prioritize, and evolve opportunities through the sales funnel with strategic follow-up and CRM pipeline discipline.
Advise Clients & Deliver Value
· Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients toward appropriate data solutions that support their planning, reporting, and decision-making needs.
· Confidently demonstrate Eco-Counter's software platform and product offerings, translating technical features into measurable client value.
· Provide consultative support throughout procurement and deployment phases.
Support Go-To-Market & Increase Visibility
· Represent Eco-Counter at industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, and other public-facing events to broaden market visibility.
· Gather market insights and deliver strategic feedback to internal teams.
· Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to strengthen cross-functional coordination and shared goals.
· Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and sales collateral.
CRM & Pipeline Management
· Maintain accurate account and opportunity records in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM).
· Leverage CRM data to support forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education & Experience
· University degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, planning, transportation, environmental sciences).
· –5+ years' experience in business development, sales, or consulting
· Experience working with public agencies and multi-stakeholder environments.
Skills & Abilities
· Excellent communicator in English; French fluency strongly preferred.
· Ability to understand, explain, and demonstrate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
· Strong relationship-building skills with an orientation toward long-term partnerships.
· Strategic thinker with proactive, opportunity-focused engagement.
· Comfortable using CRM tools and maintaining pipeline rigor.
Interest & Attributes
· Passion for active transportation, sustainability, and outdoor recreation.
· Willingness and ability to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada (~4–8 times/year).
