About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team working on innovative technology projects. This role covers the full systems engineering lifecycle -from concept through to delivery and acceptance. You'll collaborate across multiple disciplines and contribute to the design, integration, and testing of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Design, integrate, and test systems across software, mechanical, and electrical domains.
• Produce accurate technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
• Provide mentoring support to junior colleagues.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders in a professional, customer-facing capacity.
• Travel as required for project needs.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in systems design, integration, and test.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycles from concept to delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• UK driving licence and eligibility for UK security clearance.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of radar or radio systems.
• Familiarity with communications protocols (RS485, RS232, TCP-IP, CANBus).
• Experience with external verification standards (MIL STD, Def Stan, IEC).
• Hands-on experience with test equipment and fault-finding.
• Professional membership (IET, INCOSE, etc.).
