We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist to join our team! Our ideal candidate is driven, passionate and enthusiastic about helping patients.
*Position Summary:*
* Hospital Outpatient Rehab 90% evaluation and treatment, Acute and Swing Bed evaluation and treatment 10%
* Evaluate/assess the needs of patients and formulate treatment plans.
* Various diagnosis included but not limited to Adolescent to Adult Orthopaedic injuries, post op joint replacements, back, neck and/or joint pain, CVA, Generalized weakness, ect…
* Use various treatment techniques to develop personalized treatment plans, to decrease pain and increase mobility/strength/endurance and teach patients exercise techniques/home exercise program to improve their health.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*:
* Supervise PTA’s
* Provide therapy services defined in treatment plans.
* Work cooperatively and communicate with physicians, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team.
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy services in the medical record.
*REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES*
* Flexibility to see patients as needed in Outpatient, Acute and Swing Bed areas
* (all located in the hospital).
* Team player with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Organized with excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Empathetic and caring to all patients no matter their background.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
* Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic rehab environment.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
