By performing all types of computer-assisted scanning procedures at a high technical level, this position serves the patient, the provider and other Oregon Medical Group employees that interact with the patient. Duties include the operation of the CT Scanner is the ability to properly position the patient, the knowledge of computer programs and varied techniques and/or protocols needed for each case, as well as proper administration and monitoring of I.V. contrast.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform routine diagnostic and all CT procedures, to include contrast/non-contrast, CT guided biopsy and other exams
- Move, transfer and prepares patients for exam
- Administer, monitor, document and manage I.V.'s and contrast
- Operation, use and maintenance of equipment in CT
- Maintain department records, reports and files
- Keep work area clean
- Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested
- Participate in staff development and educational activities
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Attend staff meetings as required
- Maintain strictest confidentiality
- Ongoing Customer Service Training
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Equivalent of a high school diploma. Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology
- Certification by ARRT in Radiology and CT
- Valid Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)
- Current BLS
- 1+ years of experience in CT scanning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with EPIC and Intellispace PAACS
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.94 to $51.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
