Position: Nursery Room Leader

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday, All year round

Salary: £35,360 per annum

Joining Bonus: £1,000

Your Role as Room Leader

As a Room Leader, you will:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development
  • Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth
  • Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals
  • Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role
  • Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments
  • Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
  • Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS

What You Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - Essential
  • Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
  • Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS - Essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
