Your Role

We are excited to welcome a Trainee Management Accountant to our expanding team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in our Finance Department while working towards your AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualification, with full study support provided!

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts for assigned entities.
  • Help create summary financials and commentary to support group consolidation and flash reporting.
  • Reconcile and substantiate balance sheet accounts as directed by the Finance Manager.
  • Identify risks and issues within balance sheet accounts and implement appropriate resolutions.
  • Build effective relationships across the business to maintain a strong financial control environment.
  • Continuously seek process improvements and efficiencies, collaborating cross-functionally to adopt best practices.
  • Provide accurate information to the assigned business partner for designated entities.
  • Manage bank control for assigned entities.
  • Develop your skills through professional studies and hands-on experience.
About You
  • GCSE and A Level qualifications are essential.
  • Basic knowledge of the full Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
  • Previous experience in double-entry bookkeeping is essential.
  • Experience working within a finance function of a large organization is advantageous.
