Your RoleAs a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Supporting the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
- Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
- Building strong, positive relationships with your pupils to enhance interaction and learning outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Possess a strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
- Have previous successful teaching experience.
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
