Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and participate in full physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate the root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) with high accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory for damage, obsolescence, or expiration and manage accordingly.
  • Liaise with warehouse operations staff to ensure efficient product handling and storage.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Track stock levels, identify potential shortages or surpluses, and report findings.
  • Ensure proper organization, labeling, and placement of all inventory items.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and ensure the correct use of PPE.
  • Support the Logistics department's objectives through precise inventory management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; further education or certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
  • Familiarity with WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as an integral part of a team.
  • Capability to perform lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs, as part of inventory checks.
  • Understanding of fundamental logistics and supply chain concepts.
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and procedures.
