Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine cycle counts and participate in full physical inventory audits.
- Investigate the root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and update inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) with high accuracy.
- Monitor inventory for damage, obsolescence, or expiration and manage accordingly.
- Liaise with warehouse operations staff to ensure efficient product handling and storage.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of inventory control policies and procedures.
- Track stock levels, identify potential shortages or surpluses, and report findings.
- Ensure proper organization, labeling, and placement of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and ensure the correct use of PPE.
- Support the Logistics department's objectives through precise inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; further education or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
- Familiarity with WMS and other inventory management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as an integral part of a team.
- Capability to perform lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs, as part of inventory checks.
- Understanding of fundamental logistics and supply chain concepts.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and procedures.
