We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is critical in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize loss and improve efficiency. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of logistics best practices will be essential. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to upholding our high standards of operational excellence. You will work closely with warehouse management and other departments to ensure smooth operations. This includes managing stock movements, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining organized storage areas. A strong understanding of inventory management software is a plus. Your role will directly impact our ability to fulfill orders accurately and on time, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. We emphasize a culture of continuous improvement and encourage innovative solutions to inventory challenges. Ensuring proper safety protocols are followed is paramount, including the correct use of PPE . This role involves moderate lifting and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Monitoring stock levels and reordering as necessary.
- Implementing and improving inventory control procedures.
- Ensuring proper storage and organization of all inventory.
- Collaborating with purchasing and operations teams.
- Reporting on inventory accuracy and shrinkage.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Proper use of required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE .
