We are seeking motivated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are accurately picked and prepared for shipment. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently locate, retrieve, and pack various items according to customer orders and company standards. You will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity while adhering to all safety protocols. Strong attention to detail is essential for this role to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience with scanning equipment and order fulfillment systems is a plus. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all our employees, and comprehensive training will be provided on all aspects of the job, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Lifting requirements will vary depending on the product, but candidates should be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs. Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or using RF scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
Shift: Day Shift, Monday - Friday
