The United States Border Patrol is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join its elite team of law enforcement professionals. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.

• Detects and questions individuals suspected of violating immigration laws


• Pursues smugglers of undocumented non-citizens at or near the border using surveillance equipment


• Gathers evidence of illegal entry via tracks, marks, and other physical signs


• Maintains visibility while patrolling international boundaries by utilizing government assets such as vehicles, horses,
  built-in technologies like
  vessels, watercraft & many others for achievement of USBP Mission objectives.  .

You qualify for this position if you have one year (GL-5) or two years (GL-7) experience that demonstrates ability to take charge,
makes sound judgments under pressure , maintain composure during stressful situations ; learn through training classes; gather concise information through questioning observation inspection documents records OR complete four-year course study with accreditation college university Combination work experience education successful completion resume transcripts submitted application Additionally required hold U.S Citizenship residency three out five five years previous federal civilian service available apply ‣ excepted Veterans Recruitment Appointment VRA unless applicants receive veterans preference.
