Job Description:
The United States Border Patrol (USBP) is a law enforcement agency within the U.S. Customs and Border Protection that operates along the international border between the United States and Mexico as well as at its coastal waters.
We are currently hiring for entry-level positions of BORDER PATROL AGENTS . As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect America by safeguarding its borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve in one or more assigned sectors,
- Maintain surveillance from covert positions such as watchtowers using night vision scopes during nighttime operations,
i detect traffic patterns,
audit documents containing information about individuals attempting to cross into or out of the country illegally.
The USBP works closely with other federal agencies including CBP's Office of Air and Marine Aviation.
