As our Nursery Third in Charge, you will:
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development
- Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth
- Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals
- Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role
- Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments
- Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
- Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
- Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - Essential
- Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS - Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
