How You Will Make An Impact:
The Business Analyst – Data Warehouse & BI Reporting serves as a key member of the scrum team responsible for delivering data‑driven solutions within the Wealth Management Data Warehouse. This role bridges business needs with technical design by translating reporting and analytics requirements into clear user stories, data specifications, and acceptance criteria.
The BA collaborates closely with the Product Owner, Data Architect, Data Analyst, DW Developers, BI Developers, and business stakeholders to shape data marts, ETL pipelines, and dashboards using Business Objects and Tableau .
This role requires strong analytical capability, a solid grasp of data warehousing concepts, and experience supporting business intelligence and reporting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering, Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead the discovery, articulation, and clarification of business requirements for data warehouse, ETL, and BI reporting solutions.
- Translate business needs into user stories, data definitions, data and integration specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owner, data architecture, and development teams.
2. Data Analysis, Source-to-Target Mapping & Data Modelling Support
- Perform data analysis including source data validation, data profiling, and data quality assessment.
- Create source-to-target mappings, document transformation logic, and define metric calculations.
- Collaborate with Data Architect, Data Governance, and developers to shape data models aligned to business rules and reporting needs.
3. BI Solution Design, Testing Support & Documentation
- Produce high‑quality documentation for reporting logic, metric definitions, and data flows.
- Translate business needs into BI reporting specifications including metrics, aggregation rules, layout, filters, and visuals.
- Ensure report logic supports business usability, consistency, and compliance requirements including role-based access.
- Support data validation and functional testing during QA/UAT phases.
What We Are Looking For:
Must Have:
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data mart design
- Solid knowledge of ETL processes and data flows from operational systems to analytics environments
- Experience with BI tools such as Business Objects and Tableau
- Proficiency in SQL (highly preferred)
- Working knowledge of metadata, lineage, data quality frameworks, and data governance
- Proficiency with Confluence, Jira, Visio , and data modelling tools
Experience
Minimum Requirement:
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in data, reporting, or analytics environments
Must Have:
- Experience working closely with data architects, ETL developers, BI developers, finance teams, and business stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services
Education
Minimum Requirement:
- University degree or equivalent work experience
Must Have:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data/Analytics , or related fields

- Base Salary : A competitive annual range of $95,000 to $115,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
