Job Overview
The Talent Acquisition Advisor plays a key role in executing full-cycle recruitment activities with growing independence. This position is responsible for executing specialized recruitment tasks, making decisions within established frameworks, and applying functional knowledge to support hiring needs across the organization. The Talent Acquisition Advisor works independently on defined assignments and receives guidance from senior team members and managers on best practices and developing strategies.
Responsibilities And Duties
Full-Cycle Recruitment
Manage the recruitment process from requisition to offer, including posting, screening, interviewing.
Execute established processes while adapting solutions to meet specific role or department needs.
Provide recruitment expertise and consultation to hiring managers to support informed hiring decisions.
Sourcing & Talent Pipelining
Use practical sourcing strategies to attract and engage candidates for specialized or hard-to-fill roles including direct sourcing, social marketing, and virtual events.
Maintain and nurture talent pipelines for future openings using the ATS and other platforms.
Apply judgment in sourcing methods and candidate evaluation, within defined recruitment frameworks.
Candidate Experience
Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through consistent communication, professionalism, and respect.
Provide feedback and recommendations to candidates while reflecting company values.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Partner with HR, Payroll, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless pre- boarding and handoff processes.
Share knowledge with Coordinators on recruitment tools and procedures.
Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure recruitment activities are aligned with organizational policies and relevant employment legislation.
Participate in the continuous improvement of recruitment processes by providing input and feedback from frontline experience.
Education, Credentials, Qualifications
3–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare, dental, or a high- volume professional services environment.
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms.
CPHR/CHRP designation (or in progress) is considered an asset.
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong working knowledge of recruitment practices and tools.
Able to make independent decisions within set frameworks and adjust approaches as needed.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Professional written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple searches and deadlines with efficiency.
Comfortable providing guidance and sharing expertise within the team.
