Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to serve as a strategic partner for our physical retail store footprint. In this role, the Business Analyst will bridge the gap between store operations and technical execution, translating a high-level vision into a roadmap of innovative, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a sophisticated analytical background, technical knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding of the retail ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert in store applications, ensuring all technical designs align with overarching organizational goals and long-term roadmaps;
Provide technical and/or functional solutions to streamline systems, enhance application performance, and optimize complex business processes;
Analyze and conduct rigorous end-to-end impact assessments (upstream and downstream) to mitigate risk and ensure systemic stability during implementation;
Collect, define, analyze, and validate application requirements and business rules in order to ensure business needs are met;
Analyze departmental needs in regard to store applications and establish appropriate solutions;
Responsible for the incident resolution and continuous improvement of the application portfolio;
Actively participate in the definition of test strategies and scenarios to support test execution with the QA team and business stakeholders;
Monitor project progress by identifying key milestones, phases, and elements within a given sprint, and recommending iteration deliveries;
Troubleshoot any technical issues and work with developers to ensure timely and efficient resolution.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of previous retail store systems business analysis experience;
Strong understanding of business process analysis;
Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow automation;
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies;
Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio);
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
