Junior Production Accountant

Are you an organized individual with a background in accounting and an interest in the television industry?  We are looking for a JUNIOR PRODUCTION ACCOUNTANT to assist our accounting team Reporting to the Senior Production Accountant, this role would provide administrative and junior support across all areas of production accounting.   

 WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Perform full cycle of accounts payable functions; process vendor invoices with appropriate approvals, project coding, etc.
• Prepare credit applications, set up and maintain vendor accounts and handle vendor inquiries.
• Enter credit card transactions, post payments and perform credit card statement reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly GST/HST filings
• Prepare bank reconciliations for various entities
• Provide administrative support for the accounting teams.
• Other accounting related functions as needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Post-secondary education in the field of accounting or finance preferred
• Prior experience using Netsuite and running payroll through ADP preferred but not required
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Fantastic attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A self-starter who can work independently but collaborate with the team when needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Currently legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Must be able to work in-house in our Burnaby office full time.

START DATE: March 2026

Contract Length: 6 months

SALARY RANGE: $40, 000 - $45, 000 annually depending on experience.
