We are seeking a Senior Business Development expert to drive market presence and high-value project acquisition across Central Alberta. This role is built for a high-autonomy professional who understands the mechanics of industrial services and possesses the commercial discipline to turn technical knowledge into revenue.

As a senior representative, you will lead the market for our compression, power generation, and E&I solutions. While operating independently, you are supported by a premier technical team that provides the deep expertise required to deliver for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our footprint in Central Alberta. You will proactively pursue new partners and hunt for new business opportunities in the midstream, upstream, and industrial sectors.
  • Leverage your background to evaluate client needs on-site, providing expert recommendations for gas compression, and E&I services. You may coordinate technical discovery sessions between clients and our internal specialists.
  • Promote our full suite of electrical and instrumentation services, including control buildings and mechanical integration, alongside our reputation as a top-tier distributor for reciprocating natural gas engine and compressor parts.
  • Develop proposals and service agreements ensuring pricing strategies align with both market conditions and company profitability goals.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with clients which includes consistent presence. You are responsible for the full sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation to project closing and follow-up.
  • Maintain rigorous CRM data and provide accurate sales forecasts. Monitor market cycles and competitive activity to provide the leadership team with actionable intelligence on equipment utilization and margin trends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of success in industrial or oilfield service sales. A strong preference will be given to candidates with expertise in gas compression, power generation, or industrial E&I services.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, managing the P&L impact of large-scale service projects.
  • An existing network within the Western Canadian energy market and the ability to manage a regional Central Alberta schedule independently.
  • Skilled at translating technical service requirements into clear presentations and formal proposals for stakeholders at all levels.
  • A disciplined, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Working Environment 

This role requires a strong field presence at gas plants and industrial facilities throughout the region. Travel is a requirement for this role.
