POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Sales Support & Analytics plays a critical role in enabling sales performance through operational excellence, data-driven insights, and strategic support. This leader partners closely with Sales Leadership to streamline processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and deliver actionable analytics that drive revenue growth and productivity. This role oversees sales support functions, including performance reporting, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, incentive tracking, and CRM optimization. By translating data into meaningful insights, the Manager empowers the sales team with clarity, structure, and tools needed to succeed in a competitive market.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and leadership skills, ensuring alignment between sales strategy, operational execution, and measurable results.

MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Lead cross-functional coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality analysis, reporting, and strategic insights.

  • Own channel business planning and origination modelling, including target setting, performance forecasting, and scenario analysis aligned to corporate objectives.

  • Serve as a strategic intelligence lead, building and maintaining a robust market knowledge base that provides actionable insight into competitive movements, key segments, emerging trends, partnership opportunities, and revenue growth areas.

  • Design and develop analytical models to support strategic initiatives, leveraging internal databases and external market research to inform business decisions.

  • Develop and present executive-level deliverables

  • Partner with Sales, IT, and Advanced Analytics teams to support enterprise analytics initiatives and enhance data infrastructure and reporting capabilities.

  • Oversee standardized and ad hoc reporting to the Sales organization, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and actionable insight.

  • Lead the Sales Support & Analytics team, prioritizing workload, optimizing processes, and delivering timely, high-quality outputs while building team capability in automation and self-serve reporting tools.

  • Drive CRM governance and sales administration excellence, collaborating with Sales Management, BDMs, and Market Specialists to ensure effective Salesforce utilization and data integrity.

  • Oversee partner commission administration, ensuring accurate processing in MARS, maintaining data integrity across systems, and confirming all partnership agreements are valid and current.

  • Ensure timely and accurate commission payments, working closely with Sales Support and Finance to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.

  • Manage team capacity, workflow, and service standards, balancing strategic initiatives with operational priorities.

  • Partner with HR and Finance to design, model, and test sales compensation plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.

  • Continuously enhance sales analytics processes, improving reporting cadence, insight quality, and automation.

  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to develop and strengthen strategic partnerships, using data insights to inform growth strategies.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance or other related field; a professional designation in the field of finance (such as a CA or a CFA) and/or equivalent working experience

  • Progressive experience in Banking or Financial Services an asset or within a large organization as part of Corporate Development, Strategy or Finance teams

  • Supervisory experience an asset

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Project and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of relational databases and the ability to create stored procedures

  • Strong Excel capabilities including data cleaning, merging data from various sources and modelling

  • Knowledge of Power Pivot/Query – SQL is an asset

  • Strong presentation skills, ability to work with all levels including senior leadership

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Excellent group presentation skills
