The Guest Services & Reservations Supervisor is a senior front-line hospitality professional who oversees and supports the daily operations of both Guest Services and Reservations. This role works alongside the team, providing guidance, coordination, and hands-on support to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent service delivery.
This position works closely with management while focusing on day-to-day supervision, team support, and service execution.
What Will I Be Doing?
Team Support & Coordination
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Guest Services and Reservations team members.
• Assist with coordinating daily task assignments to ensure workflow runs smoothly.
• Lead by example through professional communication and service standards.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
• Act as a resource for team questions and assist with resolving guest concerns.
• Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns before escalating more complex matters to a senior manager.
• Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Property Services to ensure alignment on guest needs.
Guest Services Responsibilities
• Respond to in-house guest requests and ensure timely, professional communication.
• Coordinate concierge services including dining reservations, transportation, activities, and special requests.
• Assist with VIP arrivals and special guest arrangements.
• Maintain accurate guest notes and service records.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local vendors and partners.
Reservations Responsibilities
• Respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and booking platforms.
• Assist in converting inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Review bookings for accuracy, including rates, payments, and policies.
• Identify opportunities for upselling services and enhancements.
• Maintain accurate records within the property management system.
Our Ideal Candidate
• 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, luxury accommodations, or reservations.
• Previous experience mentoring or guiding team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Guest-focused with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Comfortable using property management and reservation systems.
• Knowledge of Whistler and surrounding amenities preferred.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
