Midland Transport is looking for a motivated summer student to join our team as a Customer Applications Analyst based at our head office location in Dieppe, NB.
The successful applicant will support modernizing data processes, help maintain and troubleshoot customer integrations (EDI, API, file transfers), and assist with testing and customer support. They'll also collaborate with the team to ensure smooth, reliable data exchange between Midland and its customers.
The position is Monday to Friday day shift for the summer (approximately May 4th - August 28th, depending on your school requirements)

Responsibilities
Modernizing processes by leveraging technology solutions such as EDI, API, and file transfers
Understanding customer requirements to deliver the best fit solution
Monitor and troubleshoot various systems to ensure they are functioning as expected
Enable and maintain data channels between Midland and our customers
Test and support technology enhancements
Collaborate and work in a team environment
Provide continuous support to our customers via phone or email as required
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary education with concentration in Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or in a related discipline
Technically inclined: process oriented and driven by a natural curiosity
Thrive in an environment where you can work independently as well as collaboratively
A continuous learner: acquiring new skills and software applications is second nature
At home in a fast-paced work environment where solutions are not always clearly defined
A practiced communicator with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Organized, analytical and business savvy
Bilingualism (FR and EN) would be considered an asset
