We are hiring an Order Picker to join our energetic team in Colorado Springs, Colorado! This role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and timely retrieval of products to fulfill customer orders. You will navigate the warehouse using pick lists or scanning devices to gather items, ensuring each order is complete and correct. Attention to detail and efficiency are crucial for success. As an Order Picker, you will contribute significantly to customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and accurate order fulfillment. We maintain a high standard for safety; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of frequent Lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Notify supervisors of any stock discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the warehouse logistics.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse/logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including significant Lifting, standing, and walking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
