We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to become a key member of our logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your precision and efficiency directly impact our customer satisfaction and the success of our distribution operations. Safety is our top priority; therefore, all team members must strictly adhere to safety regulations and consistently use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires stamina, including the ability to handle frequent lifting and prolonged periods of walking and standing. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse inventory according to order specifications.
- Use handheld scanners or other devices to track picked items and inventory levels.
- Pack selected items securely and efficiently into shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before dispatching.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Move products from storage locations to the packing and shipping zones.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to management.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Support the overall logistics process to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting and physical demands.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning technology is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Good physical condition, including the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong adherence to safety practices and the correct use of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse procedures.
