Border Protection Specialist

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws
• Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders
• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations

To qualify for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. This can include performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, or immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, or other evidence. You may also qualify if you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience.
