We’re looking for a *Junior BI Developer* to join our growing BI Data Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a *recently qualified graduate or someone with up to 2 years’ experience* who is passionate about data and looking to develop their career in Business Intelligence.
You’ll support the design and delivery of analytical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the business. Working closely with stakeholders and technical teams, you’ll help turn complex data into clear, impactful dashboards and reports. You will have hands-on experience with *Power BI* and a foundational understanding of *DAX and SQL*, with a desire to further develop your technical skills in a fast-evolving environment.

*This is a site-based position, so we’re ideally looking for candidates who are based within a commutable distance (around one hour) of our office.*

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Transform data, apply analytical logic, and build reports across multiple business domains in Power BI.
* Develop DAX queries and functions within Power BI.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and support BI solution development.
* Work with large datasets to design and develop Power BI reporting outputs.
* Support data quality initiatives and help identify integrity issues.
* Contribute to self-service reporting by supporting non-technical users with data interpretation.
* Assist with data modelling across operational systems and disparate datasets.
* Build accurate, best-practice data models with guidance from senior team members.
*Essential Skills & Experience*
* Recently qualified graduate in a relevant field (e.g. Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence) *or up to 2 years’ experience* in a BI / Data role.
* Practical experience using *Power BI* (academic, placement, or commercial experience considered).
* Foundational knowledge of DAX, SQL, and data visualisation principles.
* Understanding of relational databases and basic data modelling concepts.
* Eagerness to learn about data warehousing, ETL processes, and dimensional modelling.
* Power BI certification desirable but not essential.
* Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proactive, curious, and keen to learn.
* Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
* Collaborative team player with a solutions-focused mindset.
*Technical Skills Required*
* Microsoft Power BI (essential)
* DAX (working knowledge)
* SQL (working knowledge)
* Python (desirable but not essential)
