As an Integrated Manufacturing Technician, you’ll collaborate with a talented team of technicians and leaders, using your expertise and cutting-edge technology to ensure efficient, high-quality production.

Your Role

In this exciting multi-skilled position, you’ll join a dynamic maintenance team at our state-of-the-art facility. Your contributions will be vital in providing engineering maintenance support to our manufacturing assets and equipment, which include:

  • Automated equipment such as robots
  • Automated welding and joining systems
  • Laser joining systems
  • Automated conveyors
  • Complex tooling and lifting equipment

Whether you’re an electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, or a multiskilled engineer, you’ll receive comprehensive training, including:

  • Siemens Training
  • Kuka Robotics Training
  • ABB Robotics Training

You'll be working on machinery that builds Battery Packs, Electric Drive Units, and other electrification technologies, playing a crucial role in the growing world of electric cars.

What to Expect

As a key member of the Maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first response to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime through safe working practices
  • Conducting PM checks and running checks, ensuring completion to schedule
  • Implementing permanent corrective actions for recurring issues
  • Carrying out weekend/shutdown work and delivering projects as needed
  • Embracing training opportunities as required by the business
What You'll Need

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • A relevant Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/City and Guilds in Engineering
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with CNC Machining Centres and systems, including conveyor systems and machining aluminium or steel
  • A good working knowledge of Siemens PLCs and electrical fault-finding techniques
  • The right to work in the UK at the time of application (this role is not eligible for sponsorship)
