We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, and packing orders. You'll be an essential part of our logistics network, ensuring that products are handled efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to daily tasks. Your responsibilities will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational excellence. Strict adherence to safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a critical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock received goods in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Handle merchandise with care, ensuring no damage occurs.
- Perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and moving of items.
- Understand the importance of accuracy in all logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capable of frequently Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to logistics success.
