Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Meet established picking productivity and accuracy standards.
- Safely operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Verify picked items against order slips to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to your supervisor immediately.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in your role and within the team.
- Understand the importance of timely order fulfillment in the overall logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Familiarity with logistics principles is beneficial.
