We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including picking, packing, sorting, and loading orders with accuracy and speed. A strong commitment to safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position requires physical stamina, as it involves significant Lifting of packages and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and possess a strong understanding of warehouse Logistics. You'll contribute to a fast-paced environment where teamwork and efficiency are paramount. We value reliability and a positive attitude. This role offers a great opportunity to grow within our Logistics network. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Sort and place items on/in appropriate bins or shelves.
- Load and unload shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Utilize warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in a warehouse or Logistics environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
