We are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Warehouse Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse. This position involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. You will be responsible for scheduling deliveries, tracking inventory, managing stock rotation, and ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate and timely. This role also requires coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction. A key aspect of this role is ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety throughout the warehouse. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety procedures, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring that all team members are properly trained on safe work practices. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, scheduling transportation and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and orders.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Adhere to all PPE requirements.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
