Our fast-paced Distribution Center in Austin, Texas is seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of goods. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing shipments. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; therefore, adherence to all safety procedures and the diligent use of PPE is mandatory. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for carrier pickup, ensuring proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear appropriate PPE.
- Contribute to meeting team performance goals.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
