Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory using established systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any necessary maintenance.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Support other logistics functions as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proven ability to operate forklifts and other relevant machinery.
- Must be capable of regular lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Strong commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
