We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in San Antonio, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our clients receive the correct products in a timely manner. Your primary focus will be on accuracy, speed, and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using an order list or scanning device.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Meet or exceed performance targets for picking speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and prolonged standing.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to Safety.
