We are looking for an energetic Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Orlando, Florida. This position is vital for the smooth running of our warehouse operations, focusing on efficient handling of inventory and timely order fulfillment. Your responsibilities will encompass receiving and stocking merchandise, accurately picking and packing orders, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and maintaining a tidy and safe work environment. You will use scanning devices to track inventory movements, ensuring precision and efficiency. Safety is our top priority, so strict adherence to all company safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected. This role involves regular physical activity, including considerable lifting. A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to teamwork are essential for success in this dynamic logistics setting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately using RF scanners.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with merchandise.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, but not mandatory. Ability to perform frequent lifting, often up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Good teamwork and communication skills. Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic. Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory flow is beneficial.
