Our Los Angeles, California location is seeking energetic and reliable Warehouse Workers to support our extensive logistics operations. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, involving the physical handling, organization, and movement of goods within our distribution center. Key responsibilities include receiving and unloading freight, sorting and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and assisting with outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses a strong work ethic, and has a keen eye for detail. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe workplace, and the use of appropriate PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify inbound shipments.
- Sort and organize inventory, placing items in designated storage locations.
- Pick items accurately from inventory based on customer orders.
- Pack merchandise securely for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and safety practices, including the use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
