Job Summary:
Join our advanced San Jose, California facility as a Warehouse Technician! This role is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our warehouse and its equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all machinery, including automated systems and forklifts, operates smoothly and safely. A strong understanding of Safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. If you have a knack for mechanical and electrical systems and are dedicated to operational excellence in a logistics environment, this is the position for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct regular Safety inspections of warehouse infrastructure and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and operational disruptions.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations, procedures, and the correct use of PPE.
  • Support the logistics team by minimizing downtime and ensuring operational readiness.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repair of various types of warehouse machinery.
  • Familiarity with Safety standards and regulations in a logistics environment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including moderate Lifting and working in various conditions.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
