We are seeking a skilled and certified Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse environment. Your primary duties will involve transporting materials to and from designated areas, loading and unloading trailers, and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move pallets, stock, and other materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating the system.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including organizing stock and maintaining cleanliness.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines, especially concerning Lifting requirements and forklift operation.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to safety and following all regulations.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus.
