Seeking a fast and accurate Order Picker for our Baltimore, Maryland logistics center! This role is critical for fulfilling customer orders efficiently and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specific items, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse locations based on pick lists or electronic device instructions.
- Use scanning technology to track picked items and update inventory status.
- Conduct quality checks on picked items to ensure they are in good condition.
- Bundle, box, or bag items as required for shipping.
- Transport orders to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, ensuring aisles are unobstructed and adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with stocking shelves and participating in inventory counts when needed.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks (training available).
- Meet performance targets for order picking and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and mandatory use of PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
