Border Patrol Agent Job Description

This is a high-level position that requires dedication, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for safeguarding our borders, preventing illicit activity, and enhancing national economic prosperity.

• Federal law enforcement experience or training in public safety, security military police or law enforcement may qualify.


• The ability to speak and read Spanish is required as it is an essential tool for this role.


• Must possess one of the following: GL-5 grade level if possessing general work experience with sound judgment decisions making composure in stressful situations learning regulations methods techniques through classroom training on-the-job instruction gathering concise information questioning observation examination documents records OR Education Substitution A bachelor's degree OR Combination of Experience and Education calculated using your resume official unofficial transcripts submitted application.
