Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role? We have an immediate opening for a Shipping Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our logistics department, managing the accurate and timely preparation of all outgoing shipments. Your responsibilities will include verifying shipping information, preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, documenting shipment details, and ensuring that all packages are correctly prepared for transit. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of shipping procedures. You will be expected to work closely with warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. While this role is primarily administrative, occasional lifting of items up to 30 pounds may be required, and you will be expected to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when in the warehouse areas. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and tracking, and a commitment to accuracy.
