Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data, identify trends, and investigate discrepancies, recommending corrective actions.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence.
  • Oversee the receiving, put-away, and picking processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to align inventory strategies with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory and safety .
  • Train and guide warehouse staff on proper inventory handling and control procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce the correct use of PPE in all relevant warehouse areas.
  • Report on key inventory metrics and performance indicators to management.
  • Manage the process of identifying and dispositioning of slow-moving or obsolete inventory.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in inventory control, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, logistics , and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to perform tasks that may involve occasional Lifting of materials up to 40 pounds.
  • Experience in implementing and managing PPE policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
