As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our entire logistics operation, ensuring that orders are processed promptly and correctly. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This position requires consistent physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs, walking, bending, and reaching. Maintaining a safe work environment is a top priority, so strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. You will be a vital link in our supply chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction through accurate and timely order fulfillment. - Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Use scanning equipment to track picked items.
- Ensure picked items are correctly identified and staged for packing.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborate with packing and shipping teams to ensure smooth workflow.
