As an Inventory Clerk, you will work closely with the warehouse management team to track incoming and outgoing inventory, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory control principles and the ability to use inventory management software. While this role is more focused on data and tracking, there may be instances requiring light lifting of inventory items, up to 25 lbs. Adherence to all company safety policies, including the proper use of any required PPE, is expected. - Maintain accurate inventory counts and records using warehouse management systems.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Track the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
- Assist in identifying obsolete or slow-moving stock.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Perform other inventory-related tasks as assigned.
