Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from various heights.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of movement and inventory.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Strict adherence to all safety protocols and mandatory PPE usage.
This role requires significant physical capability, including frequent lifting, and a deep understanding of safe equipment operation within a busy logistics setting. A strong emphasis on safety and the correct use of PPE is expected.
