Our bustling fulfillment center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth operation of our distribution network. You will work with an advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS) to locate products, scan items, and pack them securely and correctly. This position involves significant walking, standing, and lifting. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all necessary PPE will be provided. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and possesses a strong desire to contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere. Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but we are willing to train dedicated individuals. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of WMS or RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
