We are hiring an Order Picker for our Tampa, Florida facility. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include locating and retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanners, and preparing them for the packing and shipping process. This position is integral to our logistics operations, and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all team members must strictly follow safety guidelines and wear the necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Use RF scanners or pick sheets to identify and retrieve products.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated area.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Meet established productivity targets for order picking.
- Report any discrepancies or damages found during the picking process.
- Support overall logistics and fulfillment efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret product labels and order forms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
