Join our bustling warehouse in Los Angeles, California as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick items for customer orders and carefully pack them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and in excellent condition. You'll work closely with a team to maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all safety protocols and the use of appropriate PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy before packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Meet established picking and packing productivity goals.
- Support the overall logistics and fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to following safety procedures.
