Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated locations.
- Prepare materials for outgoing shipments or internal transfers.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Follow all logistics procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification to operate specific warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift) is a strong plus.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety protocols and commitment to using PPE.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and logistics.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and spatial awareness.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
