Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Seattle, Washington. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of warehouse associates, and ensure the smooth flow of logistics within our distribution center. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving efficiency, productivity, and maintaining the highest standards of safety. You will be responsible for scheduling, training, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, inventory control, and best practices in logistics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supervisory roles within a warehouse setting, with a keen eye for process improvement. You will ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, and conduct regular safety training for your team. We expect our supervisors to champion a culture of safety, encouraging all employees to prioritize safe working habits. Significant lifting and material handling will be part of the operational oversight, so a good understanding of these physical demands is necessary. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
  • Manage, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and provide necessary training.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency in logistics.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure accuracy in order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control.
  • Excellent understanding of safety regulations and experience implementing them, including PPE protocols.
  • Ability to manage physically demanding tasks, including overseeing lifting requirements.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
